Ms go up, 4-0… Then the Ms say ”Marco”…. Jays quickly respond, “Polo”!!!
Actually, that's half right.
Ms say "Marco." The fans yell "PULL-O!"

All 7 runs from the Mariners today so far have come by the home run. 4 runs for Trammell, 1 for Hernandez and 2 Raleigh.

Tied it up, but can they go to extras and complete the comeback? Not holding my breath

With Sewald at the mound in the bottom of the ninth, the Mariners are going to show you how to lose a game in 10 minutes.

I think there are people on here that owe @ulmax an apology. Apparently Trammell was the answer. :pound::pound::pound::pound:

One pro start and then this...

The team also placed right-hander Easton McGee on the 15-day IL with a right forearm strain.

Well, okay, credit where due...

It's not often you see two teams blow four-run leads in the same game.

Glad to see that, at least for today, we got the extra inning load off our backs.

Just don't ever start Marco Gonzales ever again.

The second straight series we lost 1 game to 2 where we could have easily swept the opponent. So a possible 6-0 goes to 2-4.

We are only 5 games back while playing like shit but could have been only 1 game back. This team...

If this team actually mounts some sort of run, the early losses against the Blue Jays and Guardians might hurt us down the stretch when it comes to tie breakers.

I didn't catch the first two games of the Toronto series, but the Mariners need to approach these games as if they're playoff games because losing against these teams today could hurt us in September.

Yea this season is going to play out kinda wonky wonky.

We will not be squaring off against the Astros 24 different games ( which is a good thing on paper ) The stro's do not appear to be the powerhouse of years past, but they are a sleeping giant and will soon be lining them up and knockin' them over in true Godzilla fashion.

I thought we had gotten swept in TOR. Got that W by the skin of our teeth and the barrel of Big Dumpers bat.

If we roll into OAK and play like crap and lose 2 of 3 with Gilbert Kirby and Costillo on the hill of thrills for that 3 game set, they may as well just pack it in and buy some blankets for the inevitable cellar which is coming.

I keep telling myself 'it's still early and just 1 month in. yet what magical 'player dust' do we sprinkle into the dugout in hopes of some well seasoned veteran stud sprouts up wearing a Mariners jersey? I think we have a .500 ball club high ceiling mark and low ceiling of finishing '23 with low 70's for a win total.

Just like CWS predicted great season of last year or year before and they never came close to predicted success coming off a great year prior with a ton of rookies in their line up.

Who woulda ever guessed the 2023 Pirates are reincarnated as the 1970s Lumber co. ?

baseball is a funny game. But we have a line up full of fringe cutable players.

Hopefully Trammel proves me wrong and plays well and becomes near boderline regular corner outfield and Teo can be a full time DH practcally.
We still have a glaring hole at 1b and Frenchies lack of offense at the dish. And a glaring hole at 2b and a glaring hole ....
