Tigers fans were complaining about Fielder when he was traded that all he ever did was ground out to second or strike out.

Today- 2 ground outs to second and a strikeout. Seems like that describes the majority of his at-bats over the last month or so. What happened to the Prince who was hitting line drives to the opposite field?

Not having a good feeling about Cole in this game.

4 innings in, and he's yet to have a clean inning... base runners in all 4. The three double plays have really helped him out.

But he's definitely scuffling and he clearly doesn't have his A game today.

Another inning where Hamels allows multiple base runners only to be bailed out by a double play. This is one of the ugliest 1-run performances by a pitcher I can remember.

At least we're still ahead and style points don't count.
