Neither were we. Can't lump everyone in with all the posters on the now defunct CBS sports board. I'll say again, from my perspective Mcro was quite realistic in his expectations pre game.

Now I AM interested to hear his perspective on his Ravens now that game 1 is in the books. Are the expectations a bit more tempered on that defense and Flacco's receiving crew, for example?

no i still expect them compete for another SB, because that's their goal. My expectations don't change because we lost the first game of the year to another good team.

Wow I think I know what to get a couple of you Ravens fans for Christmas...A Dictionary! The Word troll means...
One who posts a deliberately provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the intention of causing maximum disruption and argument.

Kind of hard to do that with fans of your own team who agree for the most part with each other. There might be a few things us Bronco fans disagree on but we do not come on this board with the actual intention of causing an argument but to actually have good conversation about football. Now yes I know you will say "But I come on here to talk football." IF that were true then you wouldn't post pictures of Rahim Moore or the Superbowl Ring or tell us how we are going to get beat down by 20 points in our own home (yes I know you were being sarcastic but if you didn't mean for it to cause problems you wouldn't have said it in the first place).

I love my Broncos and love what I saw Thursday night but even with the blow out win I can still admit that the Broncos have some problems on both sides of the ball where you guys still struggle to even admit that the Ravens might not be as good as you once thought. The Ravens safeties looked horrible on Thursday. That should give you concern as well as for the Corners. In fact that whole back side of that defense just should scare most Ravens fans. Now having said that the Front Seven should be able to keep them in games against weaker opponents as a good pass rush can cover up some of those deficiencies. On the offensive side of the ball Flacco definitely has very few weapons at all and even when they were open he still struggled to make the right throws or accurate throws. Should be cause for concern considering how much he just got paid. OL looks like depth could be a major concern. The starting 5 did fine the first half but when they got gassed and especially when Oher went down they just fell apart not just in Oher's spot but everybody on the OL struggled second half for anything running or throwing.

Now I do expect the Ravens to bounce back and this game won't be an indication of how well they will do this season (maybe make it as a wild card) but I would think Ravens fans would just want to come on here and say congratulations and leave it at that instead of trying to get their shots in.

perhaps you should check out the game thread here before you start running your ignorant mouth about me.

Got it kid?

Ooooh tough guy getting sensitive because someone typed out his screen name.

Hey Mcro, what the fuck are you gonna do about it? Nothing, that's what. Kid.
