1300 is the longhorn radio network. 104.9 EspnAustin also usually has some postgame. But that signal barely covers Austin...

LHN has postgame interviews, etc. I do love LHN, now that I can get it!

Overstreet used his red-shirt last year I believe.

He was redshirted last year, yes

But he can't throw accurately, which is why they moved him to RB. He's been the backup in practice tho since Ash got hurt. Swoopes really does not know what he's doing. If they're going to burn his shirt, they need to let him run zone read.

Case McCoy is shaky at times and one bad hit away from going down.

Texas has no backup quarterback plan thanks to the Ash injury.

They need to get reps and develop a backup quarterback as well.

yeah, if Ash is done, you have to get Swoopes reps. All there is to it.

That's why, when I saw Swoopes come into the game, my reading was: Ash is done.

Maybe you should look up the measurables of Overstreet.

Texas has ELITE NFL defensive talent.

Robinson is nothing more than a mediocre defensive coach. He might be below average.
But Robinson understands that the players are talented.
He is simply keeping it simple and letting their talents come out.

It really shows how god awful Manny Diaz was in over-scheming defenses.
Diaz somehow made all those NFL prospects into clueless defenders with ludicrous complex schemes.

I cannot believe he convince Mack to give him another season after 2012.

I am the biggest Mack supporter, but that was a horrible decision by Brown to retain Diaz.

Mack just said, that Ash has not been released yet, so he wont play next week.

Thus, they felt Swoopes needed to get in, just to make him realize he needs to practice as if he's going to be called on next week.
