Actually, their payroll is only the 13th highest in the ML this season. But regardless, he/them had expectations for 2015 which are obviously going to go unfulfilled. Someone's gotta take the heat.

When any person, and we've got to assume he's that (was) person for the M's, and the franchise commits what they did to Cano, expectations go off the charts.
