The only real value Profar offers right now is with his glove. His bat is just ok at best, certainly not suited for the DH role. I'd rather have Soto's defense behind the plate and AJP as DH.

Problem is AJ is a catcher. He wouldn't be happy about a pure dh role. Besides, Profar fills the dh spot maybe twice a week.

In this close of race we really can't afford losing series to teams like the Brewers, not in almost mid August
