With Josh Smith being our only backup at 2B, 3B, and SS, I wonder what happens if two of those guys collide on the field and both have to leave the game. What if a couple of them have to miss a game? It really seems like Duran should be on the roster instead of Jankowski or Hedges.

Hasn’t been since the end of the season. Unofficially he really pissed off the wrong people both management and some players. Really expect him to be gone this offseason

Rather have Jankowski than Grossman. Better fielder, plays all 3 outfield positions and hits better than Grossman. We don’t need Hedges with both Heim and Garver on the roster. But other than playing multiple infield positions Smith brings little to the plate

Ian Kinsler will throw out the first pitch Wednesday. Derek Holland will catch it. Thursday, Michael Young will throw it to Colby Lewis.

I guess, they aren't planning on having to have someone for Friday, since there most likely won't be a game that day.

I know Bochy likes to go with veterans at times but here's a thought. If he finds it that big a deal to not play Carter against left handed pitching, which I don't agree with but I understand it, I wish he would put Duran in instead.

Carter should play regardless of who’s pitching. He didn’t sit Garver against Verlander, who he has been abysmal against him throughout his career.

I read an article where A-Rod and David Ortiz were talking about Eovaldi and A-Rod said that Eovaldi has the best arm of anyone who he has ever played with. That includes Randy Johnson, Clemens, Rivera and Andy Pettitte.
