It’s very odd for as good as hitting team they are. I have to say going against Abreu and Pressly in the 8th and the 9th is about as tough as it gets.

Abreu, yes. Pressly, no. He’s a soft-tossing junkballer who is prone to getting lit up. He’s one of the weaker parts of their pen. Neris, Montero, and Abreu are all tough as nails.

Yes but that was their 8th hit. I saw a stat that the Rangers are something like 80-42 when they get 8 hits or more. That’s about a 75% win rate and that’s over a large sample of games.
