That was close
Hear he got up again thoughThe failure to use Heaney late in this game is extremely frustrating.
Alvarez is a monster
I am surprised we hung on. Hopefully that changes in ArlingtonThe tendency for this team to just stop hitting after they get their initial runs is maddening. Zero adjustment as the game goes on.
That’s pretty much their trademark and why they have only one come from behind victory from the 7th inning on.The tendency for this team to just stop hitting after they get their initial runs is maddening. Zero adjustment as the game goes on.

It’s very odd for as good as hitting team they are. I have to say going against Abreu and Pressly in the 8th and the 9th is about as tough as it gets. That’s pretty much their trademark and why they have only one come from behind victory from the 7th inning on.
Abreu, yes. Pressly, no. He’s a soft-tossing junkballer who is prone to getting lit up. He’s one of the weaker parts of their pen. Neris, Montero, and Abreu are all tough as nails. It’s very odd for as good as hitting team they are. I have to say going against Abreu and Pressly in the 8th and the 9th is about as tough as it gets.
Yes but that was their 8th hit. I saw a stat that the Rangers are something like 80-42 when they get 8 hits or more. That’s about a 75% win rate and that’s over a large sample of games.1 hit after the 3rd
