What's with all the first ball hitting for Gentry all of a sudden?

IF Darvish makes his scheduled start on 9/29 and we make the wild card game, who will start for us?

Our record v. TB is irrelevant (except for home-field advantage in the one game)

Two-Club Tie for One Wild Card Spot:
One tiebreak game will be played on Monday. Sept. 30 (tentatively) to determine the Wild Card. Home field advantage will be determined by the rules above for a two-team tiebreaker.

That helps us with Cleveland at least...... I know we lost the season series to them and would be thrilled if we could at least get a wild card play in game with them

Never would have dreamed that TB would sweep the O's in a four game series. That one is hard to figure.

I think he will be skipped right?
Can't be sure. It is possible that final game against LAA is just as important as the WC game.

Looking like Garza.

I think it depends who the opponent would be but Ogando, Garza, or Perez should work. If Wash manages it like a one game playoff, and that's a big if for Wash, it really doesn't matter who starts. O course I could see Wash leaving Scheppers or somebody in the pen in a close game so he doesn't use up hi pen for the next series. Just sayin.

Ogando has pitched great his past two starts but he's been way too erratic and hasn't proven his consistency to start the WC game. Perez has been brilliant but I can't see Wash starting a rookie under those circumstances...I guess that leaves Garza but I'm seriously not sold on him.
