Wilson’s pitch was clocked at 98 miles per hour on the big screen at Safeco Field. This may be a bit of an embellishment — during a replay the Mariners broadcasters said the pitch passed the plate at 75 miles per hour. The Seahawks official Twitter account was also suspiciously coy about the pitch.
Just good fun for the local QB.
