LOL, that's right. But didn't he get onto someone earlier for destroying other peoples property, like they tore something up in the locker room? I can't even remember when he has been fake outraged or why some players were disciplined.

It's stuff like this that will give boosters that want Charlie out the ammo they need. The story we are told that a that Texas will be bad while rebuilding, but they will be hungry and well disciplined. In reality it looks like they are bad while rebuilding, but players aren't trying or working hard and they are taking their private stuff public.

Yeah, while I think it would be a mistake for Jexas to fire him so soon, you just can't have this kind of stuff happening. It's usually a sign that the coach has lost the team.

As much as I defended Kiffin when he was coaching my Trojans, I knew his days were numbered when the story about the team getting into a heated exchange after the Sun Bowl loss to GT came out. I was actually surprised he didn't get fired as soon as the team got back.

In defense of the players, only 10 % of his players were actually able to read it, and only 20% of them were able to comprehend it.

I just thought it was funny at the time when he was trying to instill all this discipline, respect, and proper behavior in the program, and had been actively kicking offenders off the team, that he was UPSET that nobody chose to vandalize something that an authority figure had put up on the wall.

The best part though is that it's a senior, ie one of Mack's players, who is complaining that the Freshmen aren't working hard. The Seniors that Mack recruited. The ones Strong has been kicking off the team left and right. The Freshmen that Strong hand picked in order to change the culture. The ones who were going to be hard workers while they rebuilt.

Not many more levels left for him to fail on.

Basically none of this is accurate. It was a Junior, who was a walk on. Looks pretty bad at this pt. This flamed up, because a reporter asked about what the player meeting covered. I think some division was boung to happen. Freshmen has been anointed the saviors of Texas. They have taken a lot of jobs and get a lot of publicity. The biggest issue is there are no upperclassmen leaders per se. Last year guys like M Brown and Hicks could say something and it was respected. They had skins on the wall. This year 2 upperclassmen that have struggled on the field have opened their mouths in public. Problem is you arent leader, because you are an upperclassmen. Leaders have to produce to be followed.

I will say this though:

Dylan Haines is a walk-on, and he shouldnt even be playing. He's playing because there was no one else to play they position when CS arrived.

The freshmen are much more talented, and look for the rest of them to be starting, if not this week, then the next. The holdovers from the former regime all suck.
