Rick Barnes is the epitome of a class act.........he could have very well been bitter about it, but he was instead very happy for Doc. I've always liked Rick Barnes as a coach..........wouldn't mind one bit if Texas made a good run in the NCAA tourney this year. Good team, classy players, classy coaches............I just wanted to murder those refs a few times today

I dont like getting beat by Texas as far as there program and coaches are concerned they really are not that bad. The bitterness at least for me is that the games are so close and could easily have gone either way. Heart breaking losses to top teams are the hardest for me. Texas has never really played dirty or said anything bad about Nebraska but losing to them sucks a fatty.

Still though, Rick Barnes and even the Texas players all said great things about Nebraska today. It feels good to hear them say "Nebraska is a great basketball team"..........especially when it's coming from Texas, who in my mind is possibly the best basketball team in the country right now.

Are you talking about the Cadillac Escalade incident? LINK If so, I think that UT fan actually wants to get vandalized. He craves the attention. The guy travels to away games in his Cadillac. He bought a huge set of longhorns for $400 off eBay and mounted them on the front of his Cadillac Escalade. After the games he drives around town honking at people. Twice before fans from other teams have fucked with his Cadillac Escalade longhorns. And every time he gets in the newspaper. I’m not saying it’s alright for fans to break off his longhorns when he pulls up to a crowd and honks at them. But the guy seems to invite trouble.

And because of this one Texas Man I’m not drawing the conclusion that all UT fans are douchebags. Just most of them.

I firmly, and proudly, admit that my mind is not altered one little bit with my emotions towards Texas.

I watched the last 5 minutes of that game yesterday. Yeah me, Jed Burks, watch part of a basketball game. I cried when it was over. Not because I was proud of the Nebraska basketball team because we all know I don't care and I don't want to pretend that I am going to start. I cried because a team with a red "N" on their jerseys finally best a team with a logo that looks like a vagina. I was so fucking happy!!!!!!!

I have only cried for 2 sporting events. This game yesterday and when the Red Sox won the World Series in 04.
