History? Manziel and Sumlin have zero history in the Big12, so you can toss history in file 13.

Fair enough......but I'm not sold Sherman even gets fired if there's no move to the SEC

And frankly, Manziel reminds me a LOT of Taylor Martinez......who got shut down fairly often in the B12

My opinion is that A&M has bowed up on one big win and a bunch of creampuffs and has a higher opinion of themselves than what is warranted.

What we've all seen in the B12 is great QBs and great offenses. What we haven't seen is those offenses and QBs dominate the league without an equally impressive DEFENSE to go with it.

It's A&M, he was getting fired. There are some great defenses that have yet to shut down Manziel this year, so I have little reason to think lesser defenses could. Maybe, who knows. Maybe it is the NFL style that can't contain him, when we know Manziels style will never work in the NFL.

As to the bold, that is ALWAYS your opinion and I'm convinced nothing will change it. Maybe I should start a thread about Texas and the shitty teams they have won against, yet are getting coverage as possibly having turned it around.

Texas isn't getting top 10 rankings, so you would have no point. Once again, your butthurt shows.

Texas and A&M have the same record, both have 2 losses.

And only ONE great defense hasn't shut Manziel down.....Bama. Every other decent one you've faced HAS - LSU and Florida.

My opinion is based on facts. You could change it if you had some to share here that shed better light on the situation.

Texas AM might have won the Big 12 this year. Hard to see them go undefeated however. Big 12 is one of the most balanced conferences that I've seen in over 60 years of watching college football. 9 of the 10 teams could have beaten Texas AM on an given Saturday.

Fordman, how many returning starters did y'all bring back this year and how many are you losing after this season? I don't know how many starters came back, but I'm pretty sure they're pretty experienced and a large part of their success.

You misspelled "redo". Figure a BAMA fan would know all about that.

Like I say every time this comes up, A&M was robbed of 2 games by vengeful Big 12 refs last year. They would have gone 8-4. This year they are going 10-2 with all the factors you mentioned. None of these are more than 30% of the reason why.

9 starters on offense (5 with eligibility after this year) and I think 8 or 9 on defense (2 with eligibility after this year). We lose our Center after this year which will be big, and we lose Swope the WR. Everyone else has the ability at least to return on offense. The defense will be pretty much turned over next year.

Yes, having experience on the offense, with a pretty decent offensive minded coach, and a QB that can run it all is the reason. It has less to do with competition and more to do with just having an older, better team.

Get a dictionary and learn what "more" means. Hint, it doesn't mean "NOTHING". And when did I overestimate my team? Did I say we were world beaters? All I've said is that A&M's results aren't indicative of the SEC strength.

I believe they are. Big12 is more balanced top to bottom. SEC bottom feeders are terrible.

Not sure how I missed that gem earlier. So 9 wins = 8 wins because 2 losses = 2 losses?
