Ok now I am rooting for A&M to NOT convert this TD.

The only dick move bigger would be if he sent the FG unit out there

#MoralVictories - Jimbo

lolz :L

I know, right? Clemson plays incredibly sloppy ball, pulls the starters for the most part early in the fourth, and runs a prevent. You call timeouts against those backups twice to score with 5 seconds left, so it was a really close game.

Jimbo has always been the world's biggest douchebag. If Venables really didn't want to give up the touchdown the first string would be in there, not a mix of second and third.

Edit: didn't realize they put Simmons in with the bench warmers.

The announcer said they still had their 1st string in.

I didn't hear them saying that, but nope. They did put Simmons in as I said above, which maybe confused the announcers, but other than him, those were mostly second and third stringers. Maguire was out there (3rd string), that "late tackle" they said was Goodrich (second string), LeAnthony Williams and Kane Patterson were both out there (3rd string). I didn't see the D-line but there aren't really "backups" in that unit yet. Venables says Clemson has like 11 starters on the defensive line because they're all getting winning grades in practice and games.

Good game. A&M should have a pretty good season. I thought your front 7 would take a huge step back but they played great.

Well they still played well. I could tell the way we were milking that last drive that we had resigned defeat and were trying to get one last drive in. our OLine was physically dominated. Good game

That isn't really fair, he was going to play baseball and only Tech risked the scholarship.
True...but IIRC, both Texas and A&M also only wanted RGIII as a DB!

Glad to see aTm has been in long enough to learn the "SEC flop". Pretty sure there's still six Aggie players laying on the field with sand in their vagina.

Defense played well the offense did not

I know that feel. Clemson's defense did great. I think A&M had around 120 yards when they started to pull the starters. The offense was not clicking, especially Lawrence, who missed like 5 wide-open receivers. It probably should have been like 45-10. I hope both of our offenses can get in a groove before it really starts mattering (I don't think a loss for either team would have affected playoff chances).
