You could knock me over with a feather. Both 49ers and Seahawks were chasing him? Why? Some times I think these two teams watch each other way to much and look to get one up on the other. It gets silly at times.

This. Being a Seahawk fan, I think we would have won that little battle if SF actually landed him. Lol.

Russell Wilson is now the 3rd highest paid QB on the Seahawks roster. Crazy.

Hey I just read Seattle might use him as a receiver…OR even possibly a corner-back… Pete has something up his sleeve….

I bet Seattle converts him to WR or tries. He has like 4.3-4.4 speed and is a monster in size. If he can learn to routes (A BIG IF) he could be a very big WR sleeper. Lot of scouting reports suggested he should try for WR anyway coming out of college considering him being a HUGE project at QB.

We'll see. He's got the necessary tools to play WR, whether he can translate that to play is another story. IF he does, he's every bit as dangerous as most WRs in the league (HUGE IFs here, the chance he does this has gotta be less than 10%).

I highly doubt Pryor plays WR.

Isn't that what you supposed to do with your division rivalry? Especially, when you are both super bowl contenders.

Only if the player has any redeeming qualities or talent. Pryor has neither.

I agree. I think his pride will get in the way and instead of being on a SB caliper team for years to come, I could see him going to Canada to play QB

Pryor can run like Kaep. That is a talent isn't it?

I wonder if the Seahawks will use him like the Jets used Brad Smith.

Don't doubt Pete Carroll… He's got a way with reaching players and making them accept different roles…

Dont forget we already had him here in NE as HC, so we have some inclinations. And he should be grateful to me for giving him directions to get on highway the first day of practice at Bryant College in Smithfield. Around corner from the dealership I run

What did they trade for him? A Steve Largent rookie card?

Pick #32 in the 7th round for a guy that is about 6`4", 230, and can run a 4.40 40. Does that sound too expensive?

They traded him for a 7th round pick, but before you sneer at a 7th round pick , check out some of the Seahawks 7th round picks under JS/PC

Michael Bowie OT He got some starts at OT last year and Pete seems to think he could be good.

J.R. Sweezy He's the starting RG for the Seahawks

Greg Scruggs DL who's is used as depth and is on the roster and shows some promise.

Malcolm Smith LB SuperBowl MVP a guy who makes big plays and will see lots of time on the field this up coming season.

I use to feel 7th round picks were useless, but I don't anymore.
