I had little hope he would even make it to begin with having to take an entire years worth of courses in 2 months. If he makes it to kstate it'll be a kick in the balls. He was aware of the dead period I assume, however kstate did appear to get some work done during it all

Not a teenager? What is he? 20 years old? He's a fucking kid. And was a verbal commit to Colorado a little over 6 months ago.

Whether or not he was our top recruit has nothing to do with the rest of his life and if he was my kid that is exactly how I would advise him. He needs to do what is right for him and if he feels he has a problem with the staff at Nebraska it is a lot better for everyone if he de-commits now.

It's great if a kid like Ameer honors his commitment regardless but he is 1 in a million and I'm not ready to say the other 999,999 kids don't have a side to their story just because it fucks up my Saturday afternoons next year.

And all of that has nothing to do with the ripping people like HP52 does for saying something negative about Pelini yet feeling it's okay to rip apart a kid for changing his mind about anything, and yes from a 53 year old I can tell you, he is a kid.

He got his offer pulled... told the staff he had some work to do, but they didn't know he had to take 36 hours with spring and summer... pulled his offer to make room for other players. We have room for 25... we're at 18. Nebraska wants 2 DEs, 1 OT, 2 CBs, a RB and a WR... that would take us from 18 to 25. Clinkscales offer got pulled because it was obvious he wasn't going to make it academically. Likely won't make it to K-State either. Crying shame because he's a heck of a talent.

I rip on a 20 year old kid who was committed then got a offer pulled and blamed the coaches and not looking urself in the mirror and putting blame where it should be. Squarely on himself. Age does not determine maturity. So the argument that he is a kid holds no eater with me.

Defending a coach who has completely righted the ship from the last staff and has been here for 6 years is a lot easier to do then defend "a kid" who can't commit to anything for 6 weeks let alone a year of free college at 2 major universities

He's claiming his academic situation is perfectly fine on twitter.

I know Bo and I know that he wouldn't go cold on a player if he didn't have a damn good reason. Especially a talent like him.
