You heard it here first......................B-E-A-S-T ! ! ! I'm going to loan him my flight moniker from 1969-1971.

He's playing for his last contract and payday........60 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and an amazing 8 sacks.

Oh yeah....he gets a ring.

Good run stuffer and a huge plug in the D-line. Also, a fun guy. Pot Roast is now Pat Roast. Pretty good deal for both sides with a one year deal.

Decent chunk of change for a 1yr deal. I still think NE double dips at that DT pos in the draft.

I like him better than Fairly. He is a great fit for what the Pats need. As far as Harvin goes, I think he could work. Not sure I want to take the risk with him though. It could be a disaster, but he may also be the missing piece.

Pot Roast when in shape and motivated is one of the best NT's in the game in my opinion. The reason no one will give him a multi-year deal though is because they know that those 2 things are very hard for him. For a one year rental though I think he can do some great things for you. Have to see what kind of shape he shows up to training camp in though. Most years from what I have read and seen he shows up usually 30-50 pounds overweight and it takes him quite a while to really get into good football shape.

Right now he's got about a month or so before the OTAs start up. If he shows up 50-60 lbs heavy, Belichick will send him on his way. My guess is that he's not severely overweight right no and Belichick gave him a fair deal. He probably told him to stay away from McDonalds, BK, Wendy's and Taco bell. And quite possibly PaPa Johns.
