Anybody see that grandpa hewitt just obliterated sock in their final? Sock could be so good if he weren't lazy and soft.

Hewitt-Sock was the semi. Hewitt played Dr. Ivo in the final today and won in the third set breaker. The other winners were Bautista Agut (2nd title this year; Could finish in top 20) and Pablo Cuevas (first career title at age 28).

Next week is Hamburg, which is the strange 500 tournament on clay that few of the top players play. The top 4 seeds are Ferrer, Fognini, Robredo, and Dolgopolov. It's a damn shame that this is a 500 level event out of its surface's season. It used to be a 1,000, but it was before the FO. Right now it is the biggest scheduling anomaly on tour. The only other tournament is the 250 in Bogota.

It's a quiet week, just like all the other weeks until Canada. It's too bad we go a month without more action.

Disliking Serena = racism. Somehow many of us like many other African Americans in other sports but if we don't like Serena, we are racists. Care to expound a tad on why you feel that way? I generally don't like classless people in life as a whole. To me she is the epitome of classlessness. It has absolutely nothing to do with the color of her skin. That's simpleminded nonsense.

Anybody but Nadal. If John Isner won the USO I would be happy. If Young won I would be happy. Happiest if Fed can win after early exits of Djoko, Nadal etc. hope this is one crazy USO. Also hope JMac retires from commentating and takes BG, PM, with him. Then I can finally watch US coverage with the tv sound on.

Liar. You don't like her not because you are racist but for the fact that she shellacks the woman you love, Shoulderpova! Let us call a spade a spade and not a tool for digging. Sharapova is one person after the hype from her first Wimbledon win, that cannot solve the woman call Serena. People who actually hate/dislike Serena are mostly because of the way she shellacks their favorites.
