Are the spots equal? There’s fishing and then there is FISHING. So we need more data.people think the more offers the more desperate the team.
I look at it like when i went fishing in Hawaii with my uncle. some days we would go and each throw a line in.
other days we would go somewhere else and he would throw 9 lines in and we would watch them all.
guess which times we had more bites.
I think he is trying to find a new fishing spot.point is more lines in the water equals greater returns.
AcademicsStanford makes sense at being the lowest as I think if you have a shot to go to school there you absolutely take it.
Washington being so low makes zero sense. Your coaches aren't working hard enough.
3.0 @ Veterinary U eh.Entering the spring semester, the Huskers’ 3.001 team cumulative GPA is the highest Nebraska football team GPA since the school began tracking it in 1992-93. In addition, the 3.008 team GPA from the fall is the football program’s highest in a fall semester since 1989-90.

Try 3.16 at a top ranked university. It's on the right side of this pic.
M.I.T should be #1 IMHO.
It's ranked #1 on some rankings sites. All these rankings sites have different metrics. I know Washington bumped Johns Hopkins out of the #1 spot for medicine a few years back.M.I.T should be #1 IMHO.
From what I understand, M.I.T. is the most rigid about admission on merit much more than some that allow marginal students in because of family legacy, influence peddling, etc. I've had ex students from them and several Ivy League schools. The ones that went to some of the Ivy League schools told me on more than one occasion there are some students that were "allowed in" that were similar to their average classmates in high school...or even worse. It's ranked #1 on some rankings sites. Going to college, for the most part, is highly overrated these days...From what I understand, M.I.T. is the most rigid about admission on merit much more than some that allow marginal students in because of family legacy, influence peddling, etc. I've had ex students from them and several Ivy League schools.
