remember the uproars when we we signed wes , LT , flowers leno lucas ? not big money signings but good players ?

samuel didnt work out this yr but maybe the next 2 he will . AH did well by us carter did well by us , jackson was ok , mccain was ok

we just need to be smart and not create weaknesses to fix other weaknesses
Of those players you name above, Leno being pretty good and apparently a resign, Flowers did ok this year, Lucas is awful but injuries forced him to play. Cosmi looks like a keeper

A few years ago we needed an experienced TE did we not? Not a converted QB. So you knew LT was going to be this good? Yeah right. I am liking Bates more and more and think he could grow into something special.
As for Wes S, meh, take him or leave him. Charles is who I'm looking forward to seeing become a pro bowler. But yes, Wes S has filled in admirably.

The thing is I didnt KNOW LT would be good . I knew he had a chance to help us . I didnt ASSUME it was fucked up

For some reason it is damn near impossible to link a bleacher report article to this site, so I just took a screen shot. I know @skinsdad62 posted this earlier. Baker is basically Heinicke with an arm, but not sure he's a locker room fit.

For the season, McCain ranks sixth on the team in tackles (63), tied for first in interceptions (two) and fourth in pass breakups (six). Per Pro Football Focus, the seventh-year pro owns a 64.6 coverage grade, a 63.0 run defense grade and a 76.0 tackling grade (higher than Kam Curl) over the last five games.

Again, those numbers won’t set the world on fire, but McCain has clearly been on an upward trajectory. At 28 years old, he’s smack in the middle of his prime and his output will likely improve after a full offseason with the club.

Carr or Wilson only ones that would give this team a boost

I don't think anyone here assumed it was fucked up to sign Logan. You have to admit, at the time it was a head scratcher.
