you arent winning if you keep drafting 1st rounders just to turn them into 2nd rounders . if you want to trade payne then fine , get a 1st for him

That wasn't my statement, I'd love to trade Payne for a 1st or in a package deal for an elite player, preferably a quarterback. But in the case of Payne, he hasn't lived up to his billing IMO. I'd take the hit and move him, I never said I would routinely move 1st round picks for 2nd rounders.

How many times do you get what a player is actually worth? How many times do GMs agree on what a player is worth? How many times do we scratch our heads and say "HOW DID THEY GET HIM FOR A 4TH, 5TH OR EVEN 7TH?
How many times do we say a organization got fleeced for picks or a player?

now you can cut a collins and get 9-13 mil but you lose talent at a weak position davis would have to take his role and next yr wes on the o/line will need to be resigned

I am not agreeing or disagreeing but having good players means making choices.

You want a splash at QB there goes your $4 million dollar QB, well actually he doesn't go ... you have to pay the splash guy.

Move Payne in a heartbeat and plug Ioanidis right in. Settle can back up both spots.
