Slater stays for special teams at the least I'd bet. As a receiver he's pretty worthless though.

Slater, Amendola, Dobson, Boyce and Edelman are all but locks - but Boyce and Edelman may open the season on PUP, creating opportunities for others. The rest of those guys will be fighting for 1 roster spot, plus whatever there is for PUP. They better make the best of whatever chances they get.

At TE, I really don't know what happens. Gronk, Hernandez, Fells, Ballard and Hoomanawanui are all deserving, but I just don't see how you keep 5 TEs.

FWIW: On the bubble on this team is slots #4 and #5 at WR. They won't keep more than 6 counting Slater. That means everyone I didn't list out up there is on the bubble and all but 1 or 2 of them will be cut.

I've often wondered why he was never moved to DB, He has all the physicak tools to play in the backfeild.

Not really. Put in on for like 5 minutes and Slater made a couple pretty nice catches
