235 had to be a typo.

I read that as saying he was 235 when he played BB at Canisus. Not what he is now…

On a side note: Few years back I got Chris Manhertz brother an indoor contract. Was all excited about it then he never showed up to camp and nobody heard from him since.

Good! So we can get rid of Tomlinson and Saubert!

Manhertz and Tomlinson are really about the same thing. Manhertz maybe a little better of a blocker.

Saubert likely won't be back but more of a ST's TE. He and Manhertz fit different roles so while I doubt Saubert is back they don't share the same type of role on an NFL team so you never know. I would say it surely means the end of Tomlinson though.

Tomlinson and Manhertz are basically OT's. They are in the NFL because they can block.

I think Manhertz has unexploited pass receiving capability. As a college basketball power forward - he is more agile than most TEs and faster.

I wouldn't expect much on the rec end. 24 catches in 7 years. He will serve his role well though. Maybe a catch here and there.

That's why I called it unexploited. He has caught an extremely high percentage of his targets. But you go ahead and be surprised. ;)

What should I be surprised about? I mean how much are you thinking he will catch here? I will tell you if it would surprise me.

It depends how well his hamstrings hold up.

And Dulcich’s too. ;)

I mean that is such a low number that is hard to be surprised. 24 total in his career. Wouldn't take much to match his career total in one year. Doubt he does it but it is such a low volume that it wouldn't surprise me. He is what he is though. A good blocking TE.
