I was at the game and i didn't even notice it. Some of these fines are ridiculous.
What the hell were you doing? How the hell were you not able to notice Brown's red instead of white undergarment?

"You won't be seeing Alex Smith in SF Giants hat in post game press conferences. He was fined $15k last year. Merton Hanks at league office decided to rescind fine and give a warning instead. Smith said Wes Welker also received warning."

If Brown was unaware of the rule then a warning would have sufficed. If, however, he did know (and I'm fairly certain he did) then he got what he deserved, and maybe the fine will serve its intended purpose.
The Cowboy (Justin Smith) did not recieve a fine for not wearing an undershirt!! Go 49ers!!
I think there were a few who didn't wear an undershirt - I think the rule is if you are going to wear an undergarment then it has to meet these criteria.
Earlier today on KNBR radio, Alex Smith revealed that he had been fined by the NFL. The infraction? Wearing a San Francisco Giants cap that was not sponsored by the league. Smith elaborated on that today, saying the fine amount was a whopping $15,000. He said players must wear league-sponsored apparel 90 minutes before and after games.
"So it's weird. Like, I can wear a Polo shirt after the game and they're not going to fine me for the Polo (logo)," he said.
He said that league later reviewed that fine - and one given to Patriots receiver Wes Welker - and decided to give the two warnings instead. Smith said that if he continues to wear the hat, perhaps the Giants can foot the bill.
"Yeah, can you call Larry Baer for me?" Smith said, referring to the Giants' chief executive.

CB Tarell Brown was fined $5,250 for wearing red sleeves under his uniform instead of his team's standard white during Sunday night's win against the Lions. ''Usually you get a warning but I didn't get a warning,'' Brown said. ''It's just part of the league and something you have to deal with. I'm not OK with giving my money away, but the league is just doing what's best for the league.''
