Lee had a bad game in his second real-game action in nearly 2 years. That said, if our WRs/TEs catch the balls that hit them in both hands, we come back and win that game and we are having an entirely different conversation today.

I hear ya oak but I am tired of saying. If this happened or that happened. They showed a stat during the 70s to 2001 Nebraska was winning at a .87 win percentage or something like. that now we have fallen to .6 win percentage. And this season and especially next season are going to be very tough for our coach who is around a .500 winning percentage. I like mostly everything MR has done and is doing. But if it doesn't turn into wins the next guy we hire better be proven that he can get the job done and win at a very high level. I think the University owes that to the fans.

All I'm saying is we have to look at things in perspective and not be so reactionary. Lee has a rough game where he didn't get a ton of help and all of a sudden the narrative is that he sucks. If people want to have a broader discussion about the state of the program, fine, but trying to incorporate that discussion into analyzing what happened in a particular game is going to end up with these huge overreactions.

Tanner Lee doesn't seem to be built to handle pressure well. His playing style makes it seem like he can subscribe to Murphy's Law at times. Kid needs to be confident to be consistent.
