If that's the culture, then we are def looking at 4 losses. That type of mentality is exactly what has been the problem. They can't handle success. The second they feel remotely validated they get lazy.

Agreed. If all the rest of our opponents follow the Wyoming copying the UCLA offense rule, I see only about 4 guararnteed wins. Mind you I think we are better than just 4 wins but unless the quality of defensive play improves vastly THAT could go south after the UCLA game, & we could be in for a very rough year.

If that's the case then this team will not be champz of anything. A Nebraska O-line should be able to move Wyoming's line 1 yard. If I remember right NU even lost yardage on the play.

In the pipeline days Nebraska would run the ball right at them even though they knew the Huskers were coming.

While I could believe that Wyoming was better than the Nebraska players/coaches thought they would be, I will not believe that they took them for granted.
They did things that were not expected. They played better than expected. That's it. It happens quite a bit in football, and all sports.

I agree. I think Wyoming just showed up and Nebraska seemed to think they would be just lay down.

If I am a player I want to go out and win every game in a blowout. Sure I may look ahead, or underestimate a team, bit I still expect to put in enough effort to win convincingly. That's what scares me is the players and coaches taking a week off and preparing for a game in the future...UCLA isn't as big if we lose to wyoming. We got to get there first.
