Isn’t that kind of the issue “troubling” baseball. If the umps just actually called the rules in place then this bogus pace of play wouldn’t be an issue and Manfred can go back to proposing other dumb ass ideas.

The umps have threatened to turn baseball into the Roller Derby.

Do whatever you want, we will call "New York" and let the fans boo and throw things.

Maybe Boog can body slam Patek and we can put up a pitch clock with the Jeopardy theme playing while the ump takes another trip to the mound to ask if the Snickers bars are in the fridge.

So long as they can go to replay and be more important than the game, all is well. We should make them all wear black capes and light sabres.
