If So Miss can keep hitting, they have a chance at taking out LSU...IF...they can pitch. LSU will have an advantage
tonight, but then it will be high scoring if they play tomorrow. Anyway, if So Miss cn comeback, we'll host the Supers

A kid I helped coach during his little league days is a pitcher at So Miss now. Went to the same high school I did and ended up getting red shirted this year. Team let him go start summer ball early so he could get work in. His family is also big FSU fans, would be funny to see them matched up in a super regional

They've got a winnable Super Regional against UNC IMO.

I have a very close friend here in Omaha that played baseball for Auburn in the late 80's. He'll be juiced if Auburn makes it to Omaha.

has always had good football and baseball teams.

We need one win in the supers for #11 to finish with 40 wins for 40 straight seasons.

Next weekend though. You guys got the sweep but we turned around and did the same to the defending national champions and took down the conference tourney. Fresh bullpens and whatnot so it should be fun

Well, we got 40 today.

If we get 41 we'll be headed back to Omaha. The two guys who beat UGA will throw on Sunday
and then on Monday, if needed. LSU burned a lot of pitchers today.

similar to yesterday,
it was a tight game
only this time tech trailin early by 2,
but then battlin back with several single-run innings -
pokes get a 2-run homer in the 8th to lead 5-4,
tech ties it in the top of the ninth
with some small ball,
but the pokes get the first man on
in the bottom of the 9th with a walk -
couple a wild pitches,
and he's over to 3rd -
pokes get him home
on another wild pitch -
take game two 6-5,
and send it to the if neccessary game -

That was messed up. It was almost a hbp walk off. At least we didn't get swept again by you guys.

Tomorrow should be fun-it really sucks that they put us against each other in the supers. It doesn't seem fair to the Big 12 for that matchup in the supers.
