ALso interesting note....he has his undergrad degree from Notre Dame, could that play into future realignment?Delany had his ups and downs, but overall I think he did a pretty good job. The B1G rakes in cash.
You're right...either way, an interesting tie to NDI thought his law degree is ND?

Rakes in cash, total assholeDelany had his ups and downs, but overall I think he did a pretty good job. The B1G rakes in cash.
I just don't see ND joining in our lifetimes. If they did, it would have to be whole hog, not exempting football. I don't see ND doing that. You're right...either way, an interesting tie to ND
There's some looming changes in football in the next half century...I could totally see ND basically being forced into a conference, especially of "super conferences" ever become a thing. I have to believe that being an "independent" is quickly going to be something not allowed.I just don't see ND joining in our lifetimes. Super conference scenario? What does it say when Delany would Skype @SlinkyRedfoot for advice on upping his asshole game?Seems qualified. Maybe he won't suck as much as Delany.
I wouldn't have thought Nebraska would be in the B10 in late 2000's. That move shocked a lot of people, especially moving out of the B12...but here we are.Super conference scenario? Yes I could see that
The B1G as it is today? No
While I never expected to see that either, Nebraska was looking for a port in the storm. They knew they wouldn't survive in the B12, and needed the revenue sharing.I wouldn't have thought Nebraska would be in the B10 in late 2000's. I think that same motivation could send ND to the B10. Something is going to cause a domino effect. Texas or OU leaving the B12 for another conference...that kind of thing. Or even conferences forcing their teams to play more in conference games vs. OOC games. If that happens, ND could be left off schedules. Or even if a future playoff requires a conference tie-in.While I never expected to see that either, Nebraska was looking for a port in the storm. Sure it does. Two rivals in the conference and a shit ton of money compared to the ACC. Don't need much more justification. We aren't joining the B1G in football. Doesn't make sense.
Also save a shit ton in travel expenses in all sports.Sure it does. Two rivals in the conference and a shit ton of money compared to the ACC. Don't need much more justification.
