i am aware :D.... I just thought those worked on Imax big screen even though they were not made for it.

Oh yeah, bigger the better for pictures like those with that type of scale. You can go LIEMAX for those too and not miss anything.

$12?

Thats how much a regular movie is here. IMAX 3d is like $16. Something like you are describing would probably be like $20-25.

You know, that may be what it is. The last movie I went to was a day time matinee because the gandparents were watching the kiddo during a nap and the wife and I snuck out.

Meh. They probably charge too much for all that. I'd rather sneak nippers in and go to dinner afterwards. Usually IMAX 3d is better in an altered state.

The Waterfront has something similar, you just might get shot if you are at a late showing.

I rarely head down that way...it's just such a long drive from my house.

As far as movies that I HAVE to see in a nice theatre, I prefer SS Works. I used to live in Munhall though, so the dollar theatre was the shit for movies that I didn't really care as much about. Now I live in Regent Square, so I ned to find new places.

I'm going tomorrow evening. My friends and I will meet in my house, which is called the Hall of Justice, to watch The Dark Knight (we watched Batman Begins last night), then we'll go to dinner, and then the movie. We're reserving the tickets today.

Yes, my roommates and I called our house the Hall of Justice. Be jealous.

When I was is college, I lived in my buddies basement, aka: the Bat Cave. I'm more of a Superman fan, so to compete, I'm going to try to get the wife to call our place the Fortress of Solitude. Stand by for the outcome..

Update: The wife says "nope" and deemed it the "Shire." She's like 5 foot even, so it makes her feel right at home. The complex is called "Berkshires" anyway...

My house in Anderson is called The Snuggly Duckling. I'll be thoroughly impressed if any of you get that reference.

My room is the Fortress of Solitude, not because I'm like Superman, but because I like to be left alone. :thumb:

I wish I lived in a town like the Shire. That would be so awesome.

I think that if the both of us lived in the Shire, Im sure we would be fat, lazy and never leave the arms reach of ale and smoke. ....

did you know that where the filmed the Shire scenes is a real town, the houses are really built into the ground in New Zealand. they just added some love to the area. many people like star wars fans visit a lot (that home where Luke lived on Tatooine is real as well)
