Yeah, if the helmet catch didn't happen 25 yards from the end zone

Cause nothing lucky happened in those last 25 yards

Without that lucky helmet catch there's no first down, no pass to Burress, no win. Except for maybe a desperation 4th down heave and a Patriots undefeated season.

No Michael Strahan on Kelly Ripa and Good morning America. No Eli Manning talk in the HOF.

Sure, just like no Adam Vinatieri, Tom Brady can be found bagging groceries at your local Stop and Shoppe

Zero is greater than 4 in New York

Cause that's how many Brady has won against a team from here
Great logic. They've already fit TB12 for his yellow jacket. Cooper's younger brother not so much. So yeah great logic.

Pete Carroll makes what is widely known as the "worst playcall in big game sports history"

Wasn't Eli all but sacked on that play? Didn't a NE defender (Ty Law I believe) a usually sure handed defender just miss an INT that same drive?
Here's TWO truths. Giants ARE the LUCKIEST SB winner ever, and Mara is the biggest ASSHOLE in the NFL.

Pretty much. That and a hell of lot of *cough* grasping going on, that at another time would have resulted in a penalty Except this time the refs kept the whistles in their pockets as they often do in these games..

So, yeah, lucky counts too.

I don't even agree with Eli going to the HOF, but you can bet your ass that he is

2 time SB Champ, like 7th overall all time in passing yards

Hes a going

Tuck Rule
John Kasay kicking a ball out of bounds that handed the Pats a SB win
Pete Carroll (enough said)

We can go on and on with how New England has won their titles

Really, you guys shouldn't be saying anything but "Thank you"

Butler also made a great play on the ball or it would have been a TD.

It never had a chance at being a TD, he made a GREAT INT...Either way, that awful pass was at the very least being knocked down

It's a team sport.. Adam deserves kudos too.

Sure is, that's why I laugh at the helmet catch stuff

The Giants defense held that record setting offense to 14 points that day, there was nothing lucky about that

If Butler was a second or two late to the ball it easily could have been a catch and waltz into the end zone.

Maybe, it was still a pass to the worst receiver on the roster on the biggest play of the season

Jesus, so much wrong with that call

But one of the best plays we will ever see by Butler

The Giants D certainly played their butts off but the Patriots still had the lead in the final two minutes.

Don't worry. No one is asking for the Giants Rings back.. You win the game, you get to keep them.. :D

Forever

Sure but a second or two later, and Carroll would have been called a football geeenius like BB

Honestly, never by me

It wasn't "A" pass that bothered me as much as THAT pass

Once he split Lynch out wide, I screamed at my TV, "What is he doing"

No problem with lining up under a center and a nice play action to Lynch

But spread offense? That's why BB never called a Timeout, he LOVED what he was seeing

If he was gonna make the call to out Romo in don't you think he'd have done it against Detriot when the team was up big?
I'm not saying he will showcase Romo. I'm just saying he does make the call whether to do it or not.
