I just didn't like the way the ball slipped out of his hand when it went to the ground. If he had set it down and let go cleanly it would have looked better, imo. Plus it wasn't a ruling that caught everyone off guard. The Announcers were talking about the whole process thing from the start.
The funny part is that I probably still think that was a catch. Instant replay isn't always gonna be the end to everything.

Im not really 100 % clear on NFL ruling, but he had that ball gripped completely, regardless if it was one handed or whatever the question is. Both his feet went down with that ball clearly caught one handed... Two games decided on last minute plays. That Dallas/Wash game was hilarious.

Normally, I think my fellow Michiganders are a bunch of whiny bitches, but that was a motherfucking touchdown. You could literally see the football approach the mother in question, buy her a drink, talk to her about Godard, and then fuck her. So what if he pulled out at the very end?

eloquently stated. that was indeed a touchdown.
and I need a nap.

To me that was a touchdown. If there is a rule in place to disallow it then I think it should be changed. I would not be surprised if someone with access to NFL films could find numerous similar examples that were allowed.

The Cowboys hold was bad timing but it was a good call. I dont blame him for doing it either, if he doesnt the defender might have gotten to Romo.

Just saw the replay of that. That was incomplete?? Crazy. One of those "obey the letter of the law if not the intent" type decisions.

It's a ridiculous rule that I can't believe hasn't been fixed yet. Oakland had the same thing happen to them last season too.

No blowout by the Bears Q. You'll have to checkout highlights of the Seahawks game to see a real blowout! ;)

That is bull...if the hand/ball was the first to hit the ground when it was let go, then I could see the call, but he landed on his ass before rolling over and then he released the ball as he was getting back up...reminds me of the bad call of the Polamalu interception in the Colts 2005 playoff game (that was later apologized for by the VP of officials).

what i don't get i suppose is that he was down in the endzone, with possession, both feet, no bobble, and it didn't count...yet on running plays guys basically throw the ball over the plane and get a TD. seriously, what's the difference? i mean, i'm pretty sure everyone knows it was a horrible call...even bears fans know that. i feel for detroit fans, that just blows.

Now what I am (and probably some others too) thinking but didnt want to say is that while I think it was a bad call and should have been a Detroit touchdown; dont you feel the Lions could have still found a way to lose the game if it had been a touchdown?

Squib kick returned for a TD. Hail Mary. Longest FG ever made by the Chicago kicker. The Bears would have had 24 seconds, and when you are playing the Lions thats forever!

*ducks*

Yer damn right I'm pissed! My team's won like 2 games the past 2 years. That was probably the last chance of us winning a game all year lol.
