Last game of the season. Despite not making the playoffs this season was a tremendous success. We turned a lot of heads in the NBA and earned respect. One thing is certain. Next year no one will be taking us lightly. Let's end the season on a high note and take down Sacramento!

GO SUNS!

Hey guys...Macklemore is having a good game for us! Wait...you mean we drafted Alex Len instead?!?! Jesus Christ!

McLemore has had it going tonight, but for the season, he's been awful, entering this game with a .373 field goal percentage, a .319 three-point field goal percentage, just a .415 two-point field goal percentage in only 4.6 attempts per game, and an average of just 1.6 free throw attempts per contest. His overall True Shooting Percentage is .482 (for a point of comparison, Jason Kidd's career True Shooting Percentage was .507). And shooting was supposed to be McLemore's strength.

... I hadn't even realized that he'd been that bad; I just looked up his numbers.

Obviously, Len didn't light it up, either, but the jury is definitely still out on last year's draft.

I just wish that the Suns had given themselves a shot in the Anthony Davis sweepstakes while they had the chance (meaning, if they had traded Steve Nash and not re-signed Grant Hill prior to the lockout-shortened 2012 campaign).

Goodwin's looking good. Len's frustrating to watch, lets hope he works hard over the summer.

Good season. I wish that it wasn't ending so soon :(

Compared to the preseason predictions from virtually everyone (myself included), 48 wins are downright shocking.

Still, what's also amazing is that the Suns have now missed the playoffs in five of the last six seasons, for a franchise that had made the playoffs in eighteen of the previous twenty seasons. Obviously, the West is very tough, but the Suns have actually become a perennial lottery team (although not a bad team aside from last season). At least now there's hope for the future, compared to last couple years of the Steve Nash/Grant Hill era, where the Suns' business model seemed to be sentimentality.

By the way, since Dragic did not play tonight and ended with an assists average of 5.9 per game, he just missed becoming the eleventh player in NBA history to average at least 20.0 points, 6.0 assists, and a .600 True Shooting Percentage in the same season.

He still ought to receive an All-NBA bid, probably on the Second Team.

By the way, only two players have ever averaged at least 20.0 points, 9.0 assists, and a .600 True Shooting Percentage in the same season:

... yeah, Magic Johnson and Kevin Johnson.

If there is a God, we will win the lottery!

...and anyone remotely close to my presence will be bought a round of shots.

The Suns are only the 2nd team in NBA history to win 48 games and not make the playoffs since the 16 team playoff format. The 2007-2008 Warriors are the other team.

WOW!
