That's pretty accurate, lol. A bunch of guys who have never played together all trying to get noticed. Reaves looked pretty good and McClung is fun to watch, but looks so small out there.

It's kinda wild how sloppy as fuck these SL games are when the TBT games look more sharp.

Arent most TBT teams all system guys though? These guys “know their role” from the get go

Three of Detroit summer league roster spots are guys that haven’t been on the team for a week.

This is glorified pick up with unis to an extent right now.

Sixers don’t get rolling until August 9th. Because of Covid wiping out Summer League last year, all their 2nd year guys will be playing as well (Maxey, Isiah Joe and BBall Paul Reed).

More or less, yeah. But some of the TBT guys have real jobs. They take time off to go play. The SL guys at least have been playing organized ball (whether its college, G-league, whatever). While it takes time to gel, I would expect them to at least be a bit better. That Heat/Lakers game was sloppy as hell. Comically bad at times. I'm not saying I expect perfection, but they should have been better than what they put out there

My annual “get too hyped for a summer league showing” post.

First game for Kuminga and you can tell he’s both talented and still a work in progress. But his body is NBA ready and he’s explosive. Will be interesting to see if he gets time this year in meaningful situations.

He is going to be a good player. Just a matter of when and what the Warriors choose to do with him this year.

Thunder beat the Pistons and Cade Cunningham yesterday. Really liked what I saw from Robison-Earl from Villanova. I think all 4 of the Thunder draft picks will be in the rotation.

Love the mention. He lived around here for a while and used to play at the JCC I went to at the time. Really nice guy.

good luck to Yam.

thats a cool story!

I think I was in like middle school or maybe early hs when the nickname hit.

I’m obviously just having fun about madar but i do have some hopes for him after seeing him really raise his game this year overseas and he is allegedly an NBA level athlete
