Seriously sucks ass... Just 1 yr removed from getting his payday. Also sucks since that tackle he made was for naught. He shouldn't have been sticking his nose in that play when it mattered very little. Pretty stupid on his part.

But oh well... Time to start making room for a kicker. Place Suisham on IR, and sign 2 kickers for competition. They saw enough of what Dri has to bring to the table last night so they can release Kenzel Doe (WR).

FA kickers are always a gamble. We got lucky with Suisham back in '10.

Doubt we'll be that lucky again. I expect a lot more 2-pt attempts in our future lol

Kickers feel like they have to make a football play every now and then, but you're right...mattered little.

One guy I could see you guys looking at is Brandon McManus. The Broncos actually traded a conditional 7th round pick for him last year and he has actually done pretty good this Training Camp but the Broncos have another guy already that is looking just a little bit better. He is cheap and has actually been practicing with a team compared to these other FA kickers.

lol I guess if you compare Jeff's age to others on the FA market he isn't that old. Only 36. Feely is 39, and Graham is 37. But when was the last time Jeff kicked a ball?

I think they should sign Graham and let him coast through the preseason until TC cuts start coming into play.

I was trying to do some digging on Prater... Didn't see anything but rave reviews about his TC so far. I doubt he is in any sort of jeopardy of getting cut from the Lions.
