Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that Cena’s return was kept a secret, as very few people knew he would be there. As for his comments about WrestleMania potentially being held in London, Sapp reports that the earliest the show could come to London would be 2026, as Philadelphia has been announced for 2024 and WWE is close to finalizing the 2025 city, which is set to be in the United States.

Per Sapp, WWE sources don’t find a WrestleMania in London likely to happen in the near future, but a survey taker near media day ahead of WWE Money in the Bank enquired about host cities for a potential Royal Rumble or SummerSlam in the United Kingdom. WrestleMania was not named on the survey.

Additionally, Sapp wrote that WWE higher-ups noted that Cena was only set for WWE Money in the Bank, and he is not planned for upcoming programs, though that could change if he has availability in his schedule.

Report: Update On WrestleMania In London, John Cena's WWE Money In The Bank Return

Would be cool to see it there but honestly........................

Save it for a big celebration. 50 would be perfect

They didn't do that segment just for the hell of it. It's pretty clear they'll be in London whenever the next available date is.

Does Wembley have a roof? Not sure how a WM in London could work without a roof. They lucked out big time with the one at MetLife just like the Super Bowl did.

I think its got a retractable roof. Either way, they've had several outdoor WMs.

What about New Jersey? They've done WM at Metlife twice.
Twice? Hmm, then I will amend my statement. I thought they did it once just like the Super Bowl and lucked out that the weather held off for a few hours.

Wrestlemania at Wembley would be impractical on many levels. Having Clash at the Castle in Cardiff in 2022 made a lot more sense. London isn't the best location for a wrestling stadium event. At a push they could hold MITB or SummerSlam somewhere other than Wembley. Other than that have a lower profile CATC style stadium event elsewhere later in the year.
