Hey, Nebraska is like South Carolina. They're cycling in. 5-7 is better than 4-8. Trending up. Give it 7 years and they'll be undefeated in the playoffs.

And I would be really sad if UGA were not the preseason national champions. That's one of the great football traditions along with running down the hill, the Sooner Schooner, and Ralphie's run.

It certainly hasn't been a great bowl season. Too many odd match-ups when something blatently better was there. Bailer was simply overrated...like Ohio State and several others.

Except that Ohio State isn't overrated. They were one play away from making the final and they would smash every team in the country except for LSU and Clemson.
