btw our gm gave yall that ring !!!! by not signing koji one that loves baltimore for a discount . put koji as set up / closer along with jj and oday we could have won the div and we was 11-8 vs the sox . by not signing koji our bp was over worked trying to hold on to a bp arm named tj and sticking with strop who the cubs got straightened out . i think this was why adair was gone

What the fuck are you talking about? Counting stats = home runs, doubles, triples, walks, etc. BA, OBP, SLG%. etc. are called rate stats. Someone has terrible reading comprehension.

It's not Boston's fault our GM is a dumbass. The trade of koji for Davis and Hunter is one of the best in orioles history but we should have made every effort to get him back when he was a free agent. But our GM decided to stand pat in the bullpen with guys coming off career years they would never duplicate not to mention the amount of mileage they had on their arms from 2 years ago. The key to a great bullpen is to inject new blood into it every year. I don't count TJ as new blood. Right now if you look at our bullpen.

Jim Johnson - arb 4. (7-8M) Is he worth the money or do we need to find our next closer fast?
Tommy Hunter- arb 2. (2-3M) Great against righties not so much against lefties. Is he our future closer?
Darren O'day - 3.2M Again, great against righties, not lefties. This is looking like a trend.
Troy Patton - arb 2. (1-2M) What a dropoff from 2 years ago. Couldn't get lefties out.....
Brian Matusz -arb 2. (2M) Lefty specialist. Do LOOGY's really deserve 2M?

I honestly think we need a rebuild of our bullpen. Do you really spend 20M for mediocrity? Our bullpen was 15th in era, and like 20th in avg. against and ops. Right now our farm system is lauded for its depth of starting pitching and relief pitching. Its time to bring some of those guys up. Keep Hunter and O'day, and give Stinson and some other guys a shot. Matusz needs a pay cut if he wants to stay but I have a feeling he wants to be a starter somewhere else.

the thing is how much do they think wallace can fix ? alot of the bp problem reverts back to being over worked . the o's have several bp arms on the way and drake will get a shot out of spring training bulldog
