Baynes played 38 minutes in the Milwaukee series. Giving him any blame would be like blaming Cardona for the Pats losing the Eagles SB

Kyrie quit, Hayward turtled, and Budenholzer coached circles around the Boy Wonder. That’s why they lost.
And Baynes is a Sub Par Big Man, period. The fact he played 38 min lets me know he is not the answer when dealing with a real big man. It's no so much his fault but because he is basically a Bog forward playing sub par at center hurts the team as a whole

Boy wonder does better creating over achievers and not managing prima donnas... Prima donnas snuff out the ability of others to over achieve.

Rudolph hasn't agreed to accept the 5 year extension that was supposedly offered to him. Something doesn't quite smell right and he may know it. Sign the deal and get shipped to Buffalo or something.

I was happy with him staying in MN and rumors "stopping" about NE. I don't want him.
What do you think?

I think Brady could make him a 'great' TE. He has the tools but has never had the right QB to make him use them. BB only has $4.05M of CAP space. The Pats are trying to get Veldhoor's $1.5M signing bonus back on their CAP. Not surehowthey would fit him. If anyone can, Bill can.

New England Patriots 2019 Salary Cap

We are currently around $5 million.

When you go down the cap roster I get to #18 I start to see veterans on the bubble.
We will surely cut some veterans from the "top 51" That will allow us quite a bit to work with.....

Watson surely didn't do NE any favors. Then again when NE players get suspended four games to start the season good things happen.

Bill needs to feel his stable of TEs can get them to week 5 at 2-2 for a minimum. Pitt, Mia, NYJ and Bills should be attainable?

Otherwise cut your losses. Send Watson packing. Renegotiate a couple deals and bring Rudolph in on a one year, get a ring deal.

I wanted Rudolph over Watson. Watson at 38 scares me. 4 games off may be a blessing.

Watson revealed the suspension to the Patriots PRIOR to the signing. 4 games allows other players to be evaluated.

Run, run rudolph! I bet we have several on the squad will do better than Rudolph.....

I saw where he said NE was aware of a potential suspension. Not sure why BB wanted to roll the dice again.

Sorry I think Rudolph in NE is just what the doctor ordered. I hope you're right though.

Ben Watson is not going to determine whether or not the Patriots are successful. He's a complimentary pieceofwhat appears to be a dynamite offense. If the Patriots have to depend on Watson for their wins, they're in deep do do.
