Ummm ok, if you see that as a contradiction? If I hire you as a mechanic but don't give you any spare parts to fix a vehicle should you be fired? It'd be very difficult to evaluate your abilities.

I certainly don't think the Kraft's nor Wolfe have set him up for success.
I agree with this and why I feel this offseason and next year will be the measuring stick. If the Pats address positions of need and not just go get more WRs and if we are not at least at .500 next season then I question if Mayo is the man for the job. We have to address the line on both side of the ball IMO

I don't see the contradiction either. I think I may have read other comments then replied to the wrong one.

When the league comes alive in March 12, 2025 Elliot Wolfe will either do something great or stupid. He is the key to the team's success in 2025.

Regardless of the players, he's had some really questionable play calling and he also has a habit of throwing players or coaches under the bus, then retracting the statements later in the week.

Lack of accountability alone would have made me fire him.

Maye is playing very well considering the lack of talent around him. Say he really connected with AVP and he contributed a lot in his 1st year as a QB. Do you let AVP go? His play calling is questionable at best. But Mayes growth is helped by him.

I agree, not saying AVP is the long term solution but he's had little to work with. When the line can't block and the WRs can't separate you can't open up the playbook.

Brisett wasn't the answer to start the season. Now that Maye has started to grow and the WRs for the most part have started catching the ball, the playbook has expanded with more play action, sweeps and having skill players line up in the QB position. So there has been improvements IMO.

Fix the OL and I think his play calling improves. Yes, he's overall responsible for the Oline as well but even Scar may not be able to help with that group. Give him another year.

Now Covington is another story.

His walking back his comments is getting old. But if that's his biggest fault I can handle that. It's not like he really addressed the media as a player. There could be a big learning curve for him? Most of us hated the BB rhetoric after 20 years as well.

Not sure how much play calling he's actually doing? Maybe his choices for TOs, challenges or going for it on 4th down is a concern? But, it's year 1 and he never coached before. The players seem to like him and that can go a long way once they regain their winning ways. If they regain their winning ways. Things don't change over night. I'm for giving him another season. NE not going to a SB anytime soon. Constant change is not a good business model either.

I don't think we can confirm AVP has made Maye better than he already was. We have no way of knowing this. Maye seems talented and smart I don't think AVP deserves a lot of credit for that.

It was a “what if” question. AVP is not a good OC. But what if he was a solid piece of what Maye is becoming and they are connecting well. So do they keep him around to help with Mayes growth. Would he take a demotion to QB coach?

My wife bought a framed item as a Christmas gift to my brother, who is decorating his new house like a man cave.

On this item is a sparrow or some small bird. The words? THE LITTLE PECKER CLUB

Look it up. It actually exists and this picture is an antique.

He's really going to put it by a $6000 antique French bar he bought.

Don't laugh, he sold 10,000 shares of MaMa Mias Meatballs yesterday after it jumped up $.20 and made $2000. He made $18,000 last week trading and buying stocks. All while moving stuff and doing outside work at his house in Chatanooga, which will go on the market Dec. 28.

If you're looking or know anyone who's looking for a 5 bedroom 3 bath home on Signal Mountain, he just (two weeks ago) put in brand new, top of the line heating system. Place is beautiful and he's not looking to make a killing.

I'm looking to downsize ( on the house, not the pecker)

This answer is so obvious it's stupid, stupid of everyone else searching to say the right thing....

Asked Joe Mazzulla on what he thinks about the NBA ratings discussion:

“I add to that, I don’t watch NBA games. I’m just as much of a problem as everyone else.”

He actually deferred answering the question as BB would but without making anyone feel awkward.

Stupid???

The guys that had to grade my property in order for my new pool to meet county code, dug up my pep-tank electrical system and three zones of my lawn irrigation system.

For non-Florida residents....pep tanks are 500 gallon septic tanks with an electric pump that the city owns on your property to handle all waste. City replaced the entire electrical and pump system. My pool contractor will get the bill.

I had my entire irrigation system replaced yesterday before the pool contractor resods the grass on about 40% of my property. I'll get the money taken off my final bill. He sets aside 2% for unseen damages. I think I'll be getting a check back.

That's the problem with using all subcontractors for every project. If you're not there to manage them, they'll cost you more in the long run.
