Same thing you're talking about with QBs on your other thread. Playing matchups weekly.

i think the first 2-3 weeks its hard.........you dont know whose gonna do what........

But say you invested an earlier pick in the seahawks d..........

they are the 11th ranked d..........hardly worth it........

weeks 3-11 i hit with a team getting 7 or more points on d......

That's funny, I was thinking about that...remember how early the Seahawks went in our league? I think it was the 10th?

i know, 49'ers d, alot went early in drafts........you cant invest in a d till you see how it performs........even good yardage ds dont translate to fantasy points

The D has been my down fall, and not because I went homer and picked the Seahawks. I've just been really bad at streaming a D.

if you look at my MBBRL roster, you would think golden......then my record......my roster prior to mccoy trade even better......yet no points

I have a pretty good roster tho. I think. Most of which, I picked up early in FA, er' whatever it's referrred to. They were just sitting there...no waivers.

If you just stick with 1 D all year, you are doing it wrong. DST play is as much about the matchup as it is the defense.

Also, contrary to what most experts will say, having 2 top scoring D's is not a bad play. I am much more likely to carry 2 D's than I am to carry 2 QBs or 2 TEs. Just don't invest highly on draft day, because they will emerge as the season goes on.

Depth at WR and RB is crucial, but you simply cannot start Detroit at NE if you want to give your team a shot to win.

I always stream Ds. I don't know how many times I picked up whatever D was playing Jax or TB this year.
