I think it's much easier in Football to leave a staff without a head coach midseason than it is in basketball. I mean he would need to do something illegal to be kicked out midseason.

I still think we're getting to 19 wins next season.

I'll tell you what though.....if all these freshmen and sophomores don't show huge improvement next season I will be shocked.

Got to remember, we were playing young all year. These young dudes weren't just coming in for a few minutes. They were starting and playing full games. We will not be the same team next season.

Not to mention, they didn't play against shitty teams. They faced UCLA, Kansas, Creighton, Dayton, Clemson, Va Tech, Purdue, Michigan, Maryland, Wisconsin, etc etc....

Most difficult schedule in the country. These dudes aren't coming back next season the same dudes they were this season.

I like you @Tomhusker ... But you're so dead wrong here. This thing happened organically. The Creighton name was established so long ago. They became the Duke of the Missouri Valley Conference which is the only reason they angled in to the Big East.
