The Big 12 has a bunch of young starting qb's in the NFL. Too much instant success from guys like Russell Wilson has ruined the average fans expectations for young players at that position. The big 12 use to suck at placing qb's in the league prior to going spread happy. The spread isn't the problem. It was texas high school football until about 10 years ago. Since then the state is doing just fine and the big 12 is too.

personally, I call bullshit on this one.

He's had plenty of chances to go to the NFL and hasn't.

nothing to see here, so might as well move along.....

No one league has a monopoly of producing top young quarterbacks.
it seems like a pretty balanced output for various pipelines.

Take a look at the top 30 quarterback ratings age 30 and under
ACC - 3
SEC - 3
PAC 12 - 3
Big 12 - 3
MWC - 3
Big 10 - (zilch)

So, I am not sure you should be calling out the Big 12 for not producing quarterbacks lately.
I hate conference homerism, but at least be correct.
2 of the 3 from the SEC are Auburn which is surprising we aren't known for our QBs.

I can't think of anyone who would benefit from him. OK long considered an NFL bust factory, especially offensive players. That Big 12 spread offense style just doesn't translate well to the NFL.

I'll call out an idiot when I see one. Your best RB's are Jamaal Charles and Adrian Peterson. Dez Bryant, Jordy Nelson, Wes Welker are some of your best WR's. Big 12 QB's haven't fared well in the NFL, but your best playmaking positions come from the Big 12....

If I was a well paid college coach I wouldnt even consider the NFL. The turnover rate is too high.

Have to agree but CFB with recruiting is a 11 month 24/7 job and can burn you out. NFL assistants have the best deal.

kind of like Barry Sanders and the Detroit Lions?

Barry was great, even on shitty teams.

In Bradford's case, I think it's been the team, that's made him good.

yes he was, but totally wasted on the Lions....and to say the Rams have made Bradford look good, is asinine at best.

Yeah he turned the Cleveland Browns down a few years ago but it looks like they are going to try to get him again. I know he's from Ohio but hes pretty settled down here. He also turned down Notre Dame and Florida twice. It's worked out pretty well for him.
