I didn't see anything about hate. All he said was that he doesn't want them in the locker room. I don't see him calling for encampments, murder, or a lynching. He's just saying that he'd feel uncomfortable in the locker if there were gay players present. If you yourself would feel comfortable, doesn't mean everybody else should.
