As for St. Louis over G, I'm okay with it. St. Louis is a great player, and he kinda got screwed in 2010 too. And he's not going to get another shot at it. Plus now Giroux gets to rest and hopefully come back PISSED after the break.

Good luck to them, and by that I of course mean I hope Canada does as well as possible without getting gold (go USA!).

Maybe Roo was passed over the 1st time because he didn't score a goal for like 2mos. Then a 2nd time because MSL never bitched about it and went out and scored like 8 goals in 7 games after finding out he was snubbed the 1st time.

Mr. Carchidi loves his bold tweets. I believe he also was the one who claimed the playoffs were a lock after signing Lecavalier.

The not a homer hashtag was the best. It's not that I don't believe Giroux is a great player, it's the incredible confidence he had after one series against one of the worst postseason defensive performances ever. I actually made my twitter avatar based on this.

I love Giroux and would have had him on the team ahead of Carter, Nash and Kunitz but HALF the team? Not clear cut better than half of that team. Sorry.

He also doesn't like the Olympics because his regular use of Gary Bettman as a hand puppet does him no good at this tournament. I'm sure he'll still do it though.
