Just got a text from a buddy in Cali, who is usually very reliable
I apologize if he's being a dick, but Im pretty sure this will all be breaking in a minute
Best case scenario for the Warriors is that the Clips/Blazers go 7. Game 7 would be May 1st. If that happens the first game would be likely May 3rd or May 4th. That'll be about a week and a half between now and possible game 1 in the best case scenario.
The biggest question becomes if Steph comes back, at what percent does he need to be effective to have a shot to beat the Clippers. Without him, I don't feel optimistic.
I honestly think the series would be pretty close to even money if Steph missed the entire thing.
I don't think making it back before game 1 is essential, but he does need to return by game 3. It will take him a little while to get back in rhythm. If GS splits the first 2 at home and gets Curry back in time for game 3, they will be just fine.
This is great news!
I haven't looked at the dates, but most reporters are saying his scheduled evaluation should be at/around game 5. If that's correct, he's not going to be able to play 5-7 mostly because he won't be in game shape and will not have had any basketball activities until then.
Well that's just awful. I never like seeing the NBA's superstars get injured, especially during the playoffs.
2 years ago on this board you'd have 75% of the posters praying for a career ended for Lebron.
It's 1 thing to not like a certain player. Hoping for a career ending injury is just wrong. I hated Kobe for his entire career but never hoped for an injury.
