That's why they get paid the big bucks.
But your right, this isn't the 70's or the 80's D anymore and these guys look for shit to sit out on.
You got an ole timer like Harrison showing up all these little bitches. Fuck'em, when they get cut and then we get to read about how bad they want back in the Burgh, Me and you will tip a beer and yell, "go fuck yourself candy ass!!!!"
How soon til we start reading about the potential of a Lamarr Woodley return lol...

And to add to this, Depree is a first round draft pick.....
Bitch needs to Suck it up, he is beginning to remind me of Mendenhall.
Still a little early to give him a Mendy reference lol. But I sure hope he gets healthy and fast.

I do too. But I hated seeing his lack of motivation after he started raking in money. Reminded me of that Albert Haynesworth dude.
IDK, LOL, didn't he go down twice last year???
At least once, but he would have to repeat that for another couple of years before he reached full Mendenhall status.

Look at guys like Ben....
He gets his ass handed to him every friggin year, and gets up each time and goes right back to it.
Times that his dumb ass should of sat, but he didn't. My boy Hines was the same way, get knocked down and jump up smiling.

But these huge ass LBs ..... I mean, wtf.......

That sort of fire, drive & competitiveness is a rare quality.

But I can't recall a Steeler team since the 80's being a loaded with so many. Sad part is they are on the D side of the ball!!!!

Yea it seems like every position is injury prone. Shazier, Mitchell, Golson, etc... All missed significant time in the past couple seasons.

Jesus I just saw this, awful
Not sure why they didn't pickup an OLB, instead picking up an ILB Steven Johnson (again).

Chickillo's foot injury better not be serious.

hell if i know, in colbert we trust i suppose
Yep... They always have a plan.

I'm guessing the team is going to carry Golson while he recovers and put Dupree on IR-recall. They are carrying 5 safeties, which tells me they plan on counting Sean Davis towards the CB depth. They have plenty of versatility in the DB group to shuffle players around. Rob Golden also has experience as the nickel CB. I'm curious to see what the team does with Dupree's roster spot though. Do they bring Doran Grant back? Or scour the FA pools for an OLB?

Well considering Dupree only started 5 games last season I don't think its as big of a deal as most think. Its just a huge disappointment considering he was supposed to have a breakout year and "hit double digit sacks" according to J Peezy. Butler loved the OLB committee approach so I suspect we'll see the same thing this season. Chickillo & Moats will factor in heavily. Hope Chick's foot is good to go this week. It's time for him to show us what all the offseason fuss was about.
