It's about 55/45 against him on some Steeler boards, those against mostly think he's damaged goods now which I understand, but consider this...If anything happens to Davis...they most likely have to Gay back inside...and put Grant or Washington outside.

For that reason...I'm all in if the guy can pass a physical.

Interesting hearing that he is still hanging around the facility... Might be a good indication that contract talks are underway?

If he met early this morning and he's still there...maybe...reports are 6 teams have shown interest, but I have to think PIT would be his 1st choice...he's made some nice money in NO so it can't be about top dollar, familiar faces, scheme, etc. should weigh fairly strong.

As I understand it, he flew in yesterday and had his physical with the team doctor last night.

I'm not sure how he knows 7 more weeks, but it sounds encouraging that he will be back this season though.

We knew that was possible...sounds like he passed the physical but it could be something chronic or degenerative.

Strange...best guess is maybe he can be the long term backup...I get the older brother on the team, but I wouldn't trust that to keep him off the weed....can't be with him 24/7.

Only thing I could think of is if they aren't looking to keep D Will after this season.

I agree.
It just isn't adding up, and that was the only thing I could think.
This experiment will be just as bad as the Blount experiment, if not worse!!!!
