If our boys have to face cinci in the playoffs, and if Burfict still has a sore neck, Ben should pull the "Kill Maschi" play on him, from the book "Playing for Pizza."

Here's how it works:

Ben starts under center, with a fullback behind and to one side. Drops back to pass. O-line opens a hole in front of Burfict, letting him charge in, unblocked. That's when the fullback springs up and forward, slamming the top of his helmet into Burfict's face mask.

Great book, BTW...it's about a down-and-out 3rd string QB who ends up playing for the Parma Panthers in NFL Italy (the team and league are both real, though the story is fiction).

Read an article on BTSC about all of the records that Ben & AB have been setting this season... here's a list:

• Roethlisberger's 40 completions against the Broncos in Week 15 was his second of the season. He is the only quarterback to have two games with 40 completions in NFL history.
• Antonio Brown's 355 catches since 2013 are the most by any wide receiver in NFL history over a three year span.
• Brown is the first player in NFL history to have two games of 15-catch games in a season. Only 3 wide receivers in NFL history have two 15-catch games in their career.
• Brown has recorded three-straight 1,500 yard receiving seasons, and is only the second player in NFL history to do so. The other? Jerry Rice (1993-1995). Brown could break that record in 2016.

I think its more about getting the kid onboard to hash out a futures/reserve contract or whatever you call it. Doubt it has anything to do with need.
