I have a feeling Archer is never going to produce in the regular season. Whether that be ST or within the offense. And its going to really frustrate all of us considering how many other capable players they have let go of to keep him around.I thought Murphy, Archer, or Nix might go...I have to think there is a rhyme or reason for Archer's presence on the 53...both play on STs, but rare for 2 FBs to stick so I'm curious as to how the dust finally settles when Bryant is back in about 8 days since the week 4 game is on Thurs.

LOL!We need to cut bait with Archer. He's tits on a bull.
Its really weird how they use him all offseason (primarily preseason) only to tuck him away during the regular season. Its like they are afraid to use him or something. Or Tomlin & Haley are under the impression that he is an "Ace in the Hole" so-to-speak.I think we all share that opinion pretty much. I said Archer would have 4 splash this season for 6...if he was used, but unless Haley is really holding back, I have to back off that...he might not be on the 53 in 10 days.
hell he is so small the other players in the nfl might break himIts really weird how they use him all offseason (primarily preseason) only to tuck him away during the regular season. Regardless... Until he logs meaningful snaps, he'll be nothing more than wasted space.
Yup... Just started a thread on itbetter than i expected, glad we signed vick
Steelers snap totals vs. Ravens could point to end of the OLB rotation
Here you go @Psych-Ward ...
Few takeaways...
1. Looks like Jarvis is severely underwhelming this season. All the crucial 3rd downs were given to Deebo. That alone says a lot. Jarvis is a liability in pass coverage.
2. Cockrell is making big waves. Have to keep him on the field. Cortez is on a one-way ticket out of town after this season. Wouldn't be surprised to see Blake start losing snaps to Ross.
3. As expected, Dupree is starting to take the majority of snaps. He has been pretty solid thus far. He should start to get additional snaps since Moats can't tackle worth a shit sometimes (still struggling to get images of his whiff on Campanaro's reverse out of my head )
